As the day wore on, I thought more about it. Something was bugging me. Now I am all for not letting a disability keep you down, but how could some one so afflicted have the audacity to claim that she's the bitch that has everything? Is she an amazing woman who lives her life to the fullest even with a disability? Or, is she just trying to over compensate by having STUFF? I don't know if I love her or hate her. This is probably not politically correct, but I believe in treating everybody equally, so I have to say that I am at best, not a fan. (way too many commas there) What ever her motivation, the message on her license plate was just crude.
So to the Bitch that has it all, I hoist a libation in your honor and say to you, I have everything! Everything I WANT that is. I hope that you have that some day too.
Two things that I don't understand about that license plate frame:
ReplyDelete1) What's the deal with the emphasis on THAT Barbie? How many Barbies are there? Oh, you mean THAT Barbie, sorry I got confused and was thinking about CNN correspondent Barbie Amanpour.
2) You have everything? Yes, yes, you seem to have an abundance of hubris, but what about humility? Got some of that?
Sometimes I think shows like Real Housewives of Orange County and MTV's Super Sweet Sixteen legitimize this kind of behavior. Don't get me wrong, once I get cable I will probably watch them. I need some lessons on getting everything I want. God forbid I build any type of character by going without.
Hubris is exactly the right word. I am actually in favor of people having what ever they can responsibly afford. It seemed like she was over reaching just a little though.
